What is the plan for the site?
The plan has not been resolved as yet, but will comprise a number of apartments facing the coast and back towards Sorrento and Hillarys
Despite being left undeveloped since the subdivision of the area, the site is currently capable of providing for more than 50 apartments, which are much needed in the northern suburbs
The proposed development may be able to accommodate more than that number of dwellings, depending on the diversity of apartment types (one, two and three bedroom options), which will be supported by appropriate open space and parking within the site
How will the site be accessed?
The designers are carefully considering access and parking for this site and are fortunate to be able to tie in to an existing slip lane off Hepburn Avenue (Levanzo Lane), returning to Hepburn via the slip lane
There will be limited impact to local streets, and walking and riding will be greatly improved
When will the apartments be ready?
The plans are still going through relevant design and approval processes
Although it is not likely that any housing will be available on site before 2027, construction may commence as soon as 2025, subject to planning approvals and apartment sales
